Michael Loughlin and Louisa Humphrey formed Artizen in 2005. 

It was a natural progression from working as sole traders in complimentary trades, and has allowed them to offer a wider range of services. 

Realising that they had the same work ethics, motivation and loyalty, Artizen has become a successful business with a reputation for reliability, consistancy and enthusiasm.

Michael has worked as a cabinet maker for over 30 years, building up a substantial client base of  loyal and trusting customers. His interest and knowledge of antiques has lead him to be a restorer of fine furniture, as well as a designer and cabinet maker.

Louisa has been an artist from an early age, going on to study fashion design and manufacture at College. Her move to Jersey gave rise to the need for a new career, and over the last 15 years she has developed her own unique style of interior decoration. 

A niche market has allowed her to work on some prestigious projects, including the re ordering of St Thomasʼs church. Initially enrolled to paint the East wall, she went on to complete all of the decoration within this landmark Catholic church in Jersey.
